COTA Exam Success Testimonials

1-on-1 conversation with course graduate Robin. She discusses how she overcame stress and most of all anxiety to pass her NBCOT COTA exam on the FIRST ATTEMPT using the STUDY WITH A COTA course and Facebook group.

I am writing to share my experience with Timisha Tross "Study with a COTA course" and to express my gratitude for the help it provided me in passing the COTA exam. I graduated in 2019 and struggled to pass the exam, failing on my first attempt by 10 points (2019). I then received accommodations in 2020, but still missed the mark twice falling short by 6 points each time.

I decided to take Timisha's course, and it was a game-changer. Her approach to simplifying complex subjects and outling the most important information helped me better understand the material and ultimately pass the exam. The course was well-organized and easy to follow, and Timisha expertise in the field was evident throughout.

Thanks to her course, I was able to simplify the subject matter and better focus my study efforts, leading to successfully passing of the exam. I recommend her course enough to anyone who is struggling to pass the COTA exam.

FAQs

Will I be able to manage this course with a full-time job and a family?

Absolutely! Everyone who has taken this course has individual obligations. Making the time to study and using the 8 study tips listed in week 1 of the course is key. Do everything it takes to succeed because your time is valuable and you only need to pass once to avoid having to retake the exam.

How long should I wait before scheduling my exam?

Given that the course lasts for nine weeks, I would allot an extra one to two weeks for review, introspection, and clarification of any content that may be challenging. Therefore, do not put off scheduling your exam and try to take it between weeks 10 and 12. It's preferable to take the exam while you still remember the material and your mind is already wired to actively study.

I failed multiple times, will this course actually work for me?

Absolutely!

This course has supported both individuals who graduated a whole year ago and newly graduated students who are struggling to achieve a passing score of over 450. I cannot make any guarantees, and if anyone does, you should be cautious. However, what I can assure is that this course provides the essential tools for success. It includes a dedicated week focused on effective study methods, strategies to dissect NBCOT questions, critical thinking techniques, and tailored study strategies to align with your unique learning style and so much more. With commitment, perseverance, and by following the course structure, success is absolutely attainable.

What should I do if I have less than 9-weeks to take my NBCOT EXAM?

Don't worry. The recent updates in this course have enabled easier navigation throughout. While it's recommended not to skip sections, in cases where time is limited, Timisha advises starting with Week 1's introduction and orientation. Following this, focus on the areas where you feel the least confident, be it pediatrics, physical disability, mental health, or any other section. Then, concentrate on practice test questions. Should you require more guidance, feel free to use the private Facebook group or reach out via the contact form.

Does this course offer practice test questions?

Yes, throughout the duration of the course, you will encounter a short quiz every week. Additionally, Timisha has included a resource comprising 700 timed questions along with a detailed rationale to further enhance your understanding and application of the material.

What is the main purpose of a study guide COURSE vs a study guide?

The purpose of a study guide course is to assist students in understanding, organizing, structuring, and explaining complex subject matter. It typically contains key information, summaries, practice questions, and other aids that help students focus their efforts on essential concepts. A study guide in a course format provides a more detailed explanation and direction vs simple information ordered in a structured format. Usually a basic study guide is in written form, whereas the a course provides written and video content.

What should I expect from this study guide course?

Just that a STUDY GUIDE COURSE. This is a guide with a compilation of YouTube videos hand-picked by Timisha combined with her own training videos. You can also expect an organized layout, downloadable material hand-picked from her textbook, and intellectual property based on evidence-based material compiled over the years of her experience. Timisha provides a full week focused on learning how to study and answer NBCOT questions. You can also expect NBCOT practice questions with access to a private Facebook group.

What if I want a refund?

Unfortunately, there will be no refund. You have access to my exclusive study guide as well as digital materials. Before making a purchase, it is advisable to ask all the necessary questions. Please use the contact form if you have any questions.
